The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 So those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 like hidden pearls, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 and clustered bananas, 29 and extended shade, 30 And water gushing, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
