The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
