The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
