And recall when Moosa said to his assistant, “I will not give up until I reach the place where the two seas meet or until I have progressed for ages.” 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 Then they found one of Our votaries, whom We had blessed and given knowledge from Us. 65 Moses said to him: "May I attend upon you that you may instruct me in the knowledge you have been taught of the right way?" 66 (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!" 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
