THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
