The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
