Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
HAS THERE COME unto thee the tiding of the Overshadowing Event? 1 On that day (many) faces will be downcast, 2 labouring, weary, 3 roasting at a scorching fire, 4 watered at a boiling fountain, 5 no food for them except thorny plants 6 Which doth not nourish nor release from hunger. 7 Some faces on that Day will be radiant, 8 Glad with their endeavour (for their good deeds which they did in this world, along with the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism). 9 In a lofty Paradise. 10 where they will hear no idle talk. 11 Therein will be a bubbling spring: 12 Therein will be thrones raised high, 13 And chosen goblets. 14 And cushions set in rows, 15 and carpets spread out. 16 Do they not look at the camels, how they are created? 17 And at the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And the mountains, how they are firmly fixed, 19 And the earth, how it is made a vast expanse? 20 Remind them; you are surely a reminder. 21 You are not a dictator over them. 22 But whoever turns back and denies the truth, 23 God shall chastise him with the greatest chastisement. 24 To Us they will all return. 25 Then it will be for Us to call them to account. 26
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
