Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

SAY: "I SEEK refuge with the Lord of rising day 1 from the evil of all that He created; 2 "and from the evil of the black darkness whenever it descends, 3 From the mischief of those who practise secret arts; 4 "And from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
