And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 [But,] verily, thou canst not make the dead hear: and [so, too,] thou canst not make the deaf [of heart] hear this call when they turn their backs [on thee] and go away, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
