Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
