Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Say thou: it hath been revealed unto me that a company of the jinn listened, and said, verily we have listened to a Recitation wondrous. 1 It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone. 2 and exalted is the majesty of our Lord, He has taken neither a wife nor a son. 3 'There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah; 4 And that we thought that men and jinn did not utter a lie against Allah: 5 And persons among humankind have been seeking refuge with persons of the jinn, so that they increased them in evil disposition. 6 and that “they thought, even as you thought, that Allah would never raise anyone (as a Messenger)”; 7 'And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. 8 We would sit there on seats to hear; but any listening now finds a meteor in wait for him. 9 'And we know not whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intends for them a Right Path. 10 And some of us are the righteous, and some of us are otherwise; we are sects differing. 11 We know that we cannot frustrate Allah in the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight. 12 ‘And that when we heard the guidance, we accepted faith in it; so whoever accepts faith in his Lord, has no fear – neither of any loss nor of any injustice.’ 13 'And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allah, after listening to this Quran), and of us some are Al-Qasitun (disbelievers those who have deviated from the Right Path)'. And whosoever has embraced Islam (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allah), then such have sought the Right Path." 14 'But those who swerve,- they are (but) fuel for Hell-fire'- 15 (Say): "If they keep to the right path We shall give them water in abundance to drink 16 so that We may test them by it -- whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord shall be sternly punished. 17 The mosques are for God's worship -- so do not invoke anyone else along with God -- 18 When the worshiper of Allah stood supplicating to Him, they swarmed around him (Prophet Muhammad). 19
