Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
