They will question you about the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will scatter them as ashes 105 and leave them a desolate waste, 106 “In which you shall neither see ups nor downs.” 107 On that day they will follow their caller without deviation. Their voices will be low in the presence of the Beneficent God. You will hear nothing but the tread of the marching feet. 108 On that Day intercession will not benefit them except him that has received the permission of the Merciful and whose words are pleased by Him. 109 He (Allah) knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them (in the Hereafter), and they will never compass anything of His Knowledge. 110 ۞ And [on that Day] all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being; and undone shall be he who bears [a burden of] evildoing 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 We have revealed the Quran in the Arabic language containing various warnings so that it may cause them to have fear (of God) or take heed. 113 Exalted is Allah, the True King! Hasten not with reciting the Qur'an before its revelation to you is finished, and pray: "Lord! Increase me in knowledge." 114 We had already, beforehand, taken the covenant of Adam, but he forgot: and We found on his part no firm resolve. 115
