With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). 60
