۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
