Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
