▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10
Let not the deniers think that they will ever get away. They cannot frustrate [God's purpose]. They have not the power to do so. 59 And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. 60 ۞ But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). 61 Should they seek to deceive you, Allah is sufficient for you. It is He who supported you with His victory and with believers, 62 and joined their hearts. Had you given away all the riches of the earth you could not have joined their hearts, but it is Allah Who joined their hearts. Indeed He is All-Mighty. All-Wise. 63 O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Allah is Sufficient for you and for the believers who follow you. 64
