Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Indeed your Lord only will raise them all on the Day of Resurrection; indeed only He is Wise, All Knowing. 25
