And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
