▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
NAY, but consider the moon! 32 and the night when it retreats 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 a warning to humankind, 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 until death approached us". 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
