Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
