The pilgrimage is in the appointed months. (For) whosoever undertakes the pilgrimage there is no approaching (women), neither transgression nor disputing in the pilgrimage. Allah is Aware of whatever good you do. Provide well for yourselves, the best provision is piety. Fear Me, O owners of minds. 197 It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during pilgrimage). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafat, celebrate the praises of Allah at the Sacred Monument, and celebrate His praises as He has directed you, even though, before this, ye went astray. 198 Then hasten on from the Place from which the people hasten on and ask the forgiveness of Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 199 And when ye have completed your rites, remember Allah even as ye remember your fathers or with a stronger remembrance. Of mankind there are some who say: our Lord vouchsafe unto us in the world, and for such there shall be no portion in the Hereafter. 200 And of them (also) is he who saith: "Our Lord! Give unto us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and guard us from the doom of Fire." 201 For such is a portion from what they have earned; and Allah is Swift At Taking Account. 202 ۞ And remember Allah on the days numbered. Then whosoever hasteneth in two days on him is no sin, and whosoever delayeth on him is no sin: this for him who feareth. So fear Allah, and know that verily unto Him shall ye be gathered. 203 And among men is he whose speech about the life of this world causes you to wonder, and he calls on Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the most violent of adversaries. 204 And when he turneth away, he speedeth through the land that he may act corruptly therein and destroy the tilth and the stock. And Allah approveth not corruptness. 205 And when it said unto him: fear Allah, arrogance taketh him to sin. Enough for him is Hell: surely an ill resort! 206 And among men is one who sells himself to seek the pleasure of Allah; and Allah is Most Compassionate towards the bondmen. 207 O you who believe! enter into submission one and all and do not follow the footsteps of Shaitan; surely he is your open enemy. 208 If you lapse back after receiving the clear teachings that have come to you, know it well that Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise. 209 Do they then wait for anything other than that Allah should come to them in the shadows of the clouds and the angels? (Then) the case would be already judged. And to Allah return all matters (for decision). 210
