Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
