The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
