The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the possessors of the elephant? 1 Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, 2 And send against them swarms of flying creatures, 3 Which hit them with stones of baked clay, 4 to turn them into (something) like the left-over grass grazed by cattle. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
