Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
