The people of the Wood too called the messengers liars. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 I am for you an honest Messenger. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ “Measure in full, and do not be of those who reduce.” 181 And weigh with a balance straight. 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 but be conscious of Him who has created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of old!" 184 They said, "You are no more than a bewitched and insane man 185 thou art naught but a mortal, like us; indeed, we think that thou art one of the liars. 186 Therefore cause a portion of the heaven to come down upon us, if you are one of the truthful. 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 Surely, in this is indeed a sign; but most of them would not believe: 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
