And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
