Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 right before your very eyes? 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
