Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
