The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
