Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8
