He it is Who made the earth subservient to you. So traverse in its tracks and partake of the sustenance He has provided. To Him will you be resurrected. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to sink beneath you and then begin to quake? 16 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not strike you with a sandstorm? You will soon know, with the coming of the torment, how serious Our warning was. 17 Those who went before them belied [the truth]: then how great was My rejection of them. 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things. 19 Which is your army that will come to your aid against the Merciful Lord? But the unbelievers are in utter delusion. 20 Who shall provide for you if He withholds His sustenance? Nay; but they persist in rebellion and aversion. 21 What, is he who walks, falling upon his face, more guided than he who walks upright on a Straight Path! 22 Say: 'It is He who has created you and given to you hearing, sight and hearts but little is it that you thank' 23 Say, "It is God who has settled you on the earth and to Him you will be resurrected". 24 But they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?" 25 Say: “Allah alone knows about that; and I am no more than a plain warner.” 26 When they realise it has come upon them, distraught will be the faces of unbelievers. They will be told: "This is what you asked for." 27 Say: "Just think: If God destroys me and those with me, or is benevolent to us, who will then protect the unbelievers from a painful doom?" 28 Say to them: “He is Merciful, and it is in Him that we believe, and it is in Him that we put all our trust. Soon will you know who is in manifest error.” 29 Say: Have ye thought: If (all) your water were to disappear into the earth, who then could bring you gushing water? 30
