What ails the unbelievers, running with outstretched necks 36 in crowds, both on the right and on the left? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness [Our being] the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise and sunset: verily, well able are We 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 the day they shall come forth from the tombs hastily, as if they were hurrying unto a waymark, 43 Eyes lowered, shame attending. That is the day they have been promised! 44
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
