The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
