We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
