Allah it is Who has made cattle for you so that you ride some of them and from some of them you derive food. 79 You may also obtain other benefits from them. You may ride them to seek whatever you need or be carried by them as ships carry you by sea. 80 And [thus] He displays His wonders before you: which, then, of God's wonders can you still deny? 81 Have they not travelled through the earth and seen what was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than them and mightier in strength, and in the traces (they have left behind them) in the land, yet all that they used to earn availed them not. 82 When their Messengers brought them clear verses they rejoiced in such knowledge as they had; but they were encompassed by that which they mocked. 83 And then, when they [clearly] beheld Our punishment, they said: "We have come to believe in the One God, and we have renounced all belief in that to which we were wont to ascribe a share in His divinity!" 84 But their faith could not avail them when they saw Our doom. This is Allah's law which hath ever taken course for His bondmen. And then the disbelievers will be ruined. 85
