NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 As a warning unto men, 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 Till death overtook us. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
تشير بداية ونهاية كل سورة الى السور المنزلة قبلها و بعدها. يمكنك الضغط على أي منها للذهاب إليها.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
