Al-Nesaa 5 of 24
Allah doth wish to make clear to you and to show you the ordinances of those before you; and (He doth wish to) turn to you (In Mercy): And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. 26 He wishes to turn towards you in mercy, but those who follow their own passions want you to drift far away from the right path. 27 And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak. 28 Believers, do not exchange your property in wrongful ways unless it is in trade by mutual agreement. Do not kill one another. God is All-merciful to you. 29 If someone does so through oppression or injustice, We shall cast him into Hell: This is how (the Law of) God works inevitably. 30 If you shun the great sins which you are forbidden, We will do away with your small sins and cause you to enter an honorable place of entering. 31 And do not long for things by which Allah has given superiority to some of you over others; for men is the share of what they earn; and for women the share from what they earn; and seek from Allah His munificence; indeed Allah knows everything. 32 And to every one We have appointed heirs of what parents and near relatives leave; and as to those with whom your rights hands have ratified agreements, give them their portion; surely Allah is a witness over all things. 33
