Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
