Nay! By the moon 32 and the night when it retreats 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens they will question 40 About the guilty: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
