Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
