The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
