Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 and my tongue fluent 27 so that they may understand my speech, 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 By him confirm my strength 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 That we may exalt You much 33 And much remember Thee. 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 when thy sister went out, saying, "Shall I point you to one to have charge of him?" So We returned thee to thy mother that she might rejoice, and not sorrow. Then thou slewest; a living soul, and We delivered thee out of grief, and We tried thee with many trials. Many years among the people of Midian thou didst sojourn, then camest hither, Moses, according to a decree. 40 I have chosen you for Myself. 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 "So go you both to him, and say: 'Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave everything its form and then guided it." 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
