And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
