۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
