The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
