The Bee (Al-nahl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GOD'S JUDGMENT is [bound to] come: do not, therefore, call for its speedy advent! Limitless is He in His glory and sublimely exalted above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. Exalted is He above that which they associate. 3 He created mankind from a sperm drop, yet he is a clear adversary. 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 and you find beauty in them when you drive them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 He has created horses, mules and donkeys, so that you may ride them, and also so that they may be put on show, and He creates other things beyond your knowledge. 8 And the middle path rightly leads to Allah – any other path is wayward; and had He willed He would have brought all of you upon guidance. 9
