Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; 2 Then those (ships) that glide easily, 3 Then those (angels who) distribute blessings by Our command; 4 Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds, etc.) is surely true. 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 The heavens webbed-with-tracks is witness 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 They ask: when is the Day of Requital coming? 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Surely the God-fearing will find themselves in the midst of gardens and springs. 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They slept little in the night, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking). 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see? 21 And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, it is the truth, even as (it is true) that ye speak. 23
