VERILY, [O believer,] it is We who have bestowed from on high this Qur'an upon thee, step by step - truly a bestowal from on high! 23 So wait for your Lord's command, and do not follow any sinner or disbeliever among them. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 Verily! This (Verses of the Quran) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allah). 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He admits into His mercy, whomever He wills; and for the unjust He has kept prepared a painful punishment. 31
